Established in 2011, COMP-Northwest serves as a vital institution for medical education in Oregon. For instance, second-year student Madeleine Duncan received the United States Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health Award for her work in establishing a mentoring program focused on healthy lifestyles for high school students in Sweet Home, Oregon.
